SZA’s “SOS” album on pace to remain at number one in US on Billboard 200 chart, for third straight week

SZA’s “SOS” on its way to third week at number one in US 

SZA’s new “SOS” album has been extremely dominant, all month long. It was finally released on December 9, and easily debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart, with 318,000 units sold in its first week.

This past weekend, SOS also remained on top, with 180,000 units selling in its second week. However, SZA’s run at the number one spot isn’t ending anytime soon.

According to Chart Data, SOS is on pace to remain at number one on the Billboard 200, this week. It’s anticipated to sell nearly 120,000 units, in its third week. Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” is expected to be at number two.

SOS is led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.” 23 songs were available on the album, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. SZA also showed versatility on records such as “Low,” “Smoking On My Ex Pack” and “F2F.” “Kill Bill” has also peaked at number three on the Hot 100. 20 out of the 23 songs initially debuted on the Hot 100.
