On Friday, SZA’s sophomore album, “SOS,” finally arrived. This comes after fans waited five and a half years for the R&B star to finally release a project. SOS was led by hit singles such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U” and “Shirt.”

SOS contained 23 songs, as fans online immediately praised all of them. SZA was also extremely versatile on this album, as she had R&B, pop, rap, and rock records. She also collaborated with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

SZA has since been shattering streaming services, with every song from SOS. This includes Apple Music, as well as Spotify. According to Chart Data, SOS has also now broken the record for biggest single day streams for an R&B album in Spotify history. This comes after accumulating 68 million streams.

SZA initially confirmed the release date for SOS, last weekend. This was done while appearing and performing on “Saturday Night Live.” Earlier that week, she also teased the official album cover art, on social media. That all but confirmed that SZA was sticking to her plan for December release.
