T.J. Maxx becomes latest brand, to end association with Kanye West and Yeezy brand, after Ye’s anti-Semitic comments

T.J Maxx cuts ties with Kanye West

This week has definitely been one of the worst of Kanye West’s career. This comes after he doubled down with anti-Semitic comments on Twitter, and lost brand partnerships with adidas, Balenciaga, CAA, and more. Even the Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and Los Angeles Rams’ Aaron Donald cut ties with Kanye’s Donda Sports agency.

On Wednesday, Kanye even approached Skechers‘ headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA. This was uninvited and unannounced, as he was escorted out. Many believed that Ye intended to try to get Sketchers to become the new manufacturer and distributor of his Yeezy sneakers, following his adidas departure.

Now, T.J. Maxx is another brand who is letting Kanye go. According to TMZ, TJX Companies made this decision, who operates T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods. They have since released a statement, condemning Kanye’s comments.

“At TJX we do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or hate of any kind. We have instructed our buying teams not to purchase this merchandise for sale in any of our stores globally.”

At this point, Kanye may very well continue to have trouble getting endorsement deals, again. This also comes as he sadly made insensitive comments about George Floyd, and wore “white lives matter” shirts.
