Takeoff memorial site in Houston is created after shooting

It’s been over a week now, since Takeoff lost his life. This was as a result of being caught in a shooting outside of a Houston bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling. An argument ensued between Quavo and a group of men, as two firearms went on to be used. 10 shots were fired as well, as Takeoff was hit in the middle of the crossfire. He was shot in the torso and head. This all reportedly happened as a result of Quavo’s frustration of losing a dice game.

According to TMZ, a memorial has now been set up for Takeoff, outside of 910 Billiards & Bowling. Flowers, photos balloons, and more were placed by fans, in tribute to the late Migos rapper. A “R.I.P. Takeoff” sign was also displayed.

Takeoff’s funeral is also taking place in his hometown of Atlanta, on Friday. This will be held at State Farm Arena, which is home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks. Among the performers at this memorial will be Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys.
