Takeoff’s parents are in battle over his assets
It’s been over a month now, since Takeoff passed away. This was as a result of a shooting outside of a Houston bowling alley that occurred. The Migos rapper was only 28-years-old, as many are still understandably morning. Takeoff’s funeral was held on November 11, in his hometown of Atlanta, at State Farm Arena.
Last week, a suspect was also finally arrested, in connection to Takeoff’s death. This was 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark. He also reportedly got an expedited passport, in an attempt to flee to Mexico. But, his attorneys in court this week maintained his innocence. Clark’s bail is currently now set at $2 million, and would be under various conditions, should he be released. This includes no contact with Takeoff’s loved ones, and would be placed under house arrest.
However, there are also issues in regards to Takeoff’s assets. He is said to have passed away without a will. As a result, his parents aren’t seeing eye-to-eye about the distribution of his funds. Takeoff has a reported net worth of $28 million. His parents supposedly haven’t been getting along for a while now, so this presents to be an even bigger issue.
