Tamia hits back at Fabolous’ claim that she had throat surgery, as the reason Ashanti was on “Into You,” sharing her albums, saying “25 years. 8 albums. 0 throat surgeries”

Tamia responds to Fabolous' claims, in his Versuz, with Jadakiss. On the IG Live, Fabolous said that Ashanti was only on the "Into You" record, because Tamia was having throat surgery. This is something that people questioned and Tamia cleared the air, on Instagram, sharing her collection of albums, saying "25 years. 8 albums. 0 throat surgeries."By Bossyy

The past decade has seen Fabolous and Jadakiss become two of the closest rappers in the game. Sharing many songs together, the two became an official duo, when they dropped a project together. It was only right for them to battle each other, on Swizz Beatz’ Versuz.

Fabolous, early in his career, scored one of the biggest hits of his career. The summer of 2003 saw him drop “Into You,” which featured two different versions. Originally, Ashanti, the biggest singer, at the time was featured, but the song sampled Tamia, who did the video.

Tamia sang the hook, in the music video, with her version soon replacing the Ashanti version, on the radio. For years, the story has been that Ashanti was unavailable for the music video, so Fabolous got Tamia to do the record. However, on Versuz, Fabolous claimed Tamia was having throat surgery, which she denied, in a very classy way, on Instagram.
