Teenager threatens to shoot man for speaking to him
It appears as if even trying to be nice to someone comes with a risk, these days. Sometimes a person can get hurt just by minding their own business. A man who tried to give a young man some advice ended up nearly losing his life. The situation began with a teenage boy on Facebook Live. Standing near a bus stop, a man walks by and simply says “what’s up?” As a result, the teen replied with “what’s up?” in a hostile manner. After that, the man tried to confront him with advice on his tone, and things escalated.
One of the first lessons people are taught as children is to not talk to strangers. However, as an adult, talking to strangers is necessary. Normally, when people go out in public, they give a head nod to strangers. Much of this is due to trying to be polite, build some form of familiarity. Most importantly, this is done to let it be known that people want to keep peace. An unfortunate fact about life is that some people don’t want beef.
When a teenager was filming himself on Facebook Live, the man walking by had no idea what was coming next. The man simply said “what’s up?” to the young man, being polite. However, the teen told him “what’s up?” back in a hostile manner. As a result, the man tried to talk to the teen. Most people would have simply walked off. However, the man tried to use this as a teachable moment, but the teen became so upset that he began threatening to shoot the man. That made him back off.
