Tekashi 6ix9ine arrested in Dominican Republic for assault of men

Earlier this year, Tekashi 6ix9ine was heavily trending on social media for the first time in a while. This was as a result of him being attacked by three men at an LA Fitness gym in the Palm Beach area of South Florida. Furthermore, the Brooklyn rapper was seen bloodied from his nose, as he went on to be treated at a local hospital. Moreover, three men were arrested for this incident, as they are also gang affiliated.

6ix9ine also went on to get into more legal issues in South Florida. In August, he was arrested for failing to show up for a court appearance for speeding tickets. Therefore, he was booked in the Palm Beach County Jail. However, 6ix9ine was able to quickly post bond.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine is in even more legal woes. According to attorney Felix Portes, 6ix9ine has been arrested in the Dominican Republic, as of Friday. This is due to two men at a recording studio allegedly being assaulted by him. The arrest of 6ix9ine also came as he was leaving the country, on a private jet.

On Friday, footage also surfaced of 6ix9ine and several men confronting men at this recording studio. The confrontation reportedly went down due to the men working with his girlfriend, Yailin La Mas Viral. Another conflicting report stated that the producers initially disrespected her.
