Tems performs at NPR Tiny Desk concert

Over the weekend, it was revealed that Tems would be performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. She is part of an all-women lineup for the month of June, in honor of Black Music Month.

Meanwhile, NPR has just released Tems’ full Tiny Desk performance. Among the songs that the Nigerian native performed were “Me & U,”Ice T,” “Unfortunate,” “Forever,” “Love Me JeJe.” Me & U and Love Me JeJe are the lead singles from Tems’ forthcoming debut studio album, “Born In The Wild,” which is arriving on June 7.

Tems initially announced her Born In The Wild album last week, as well as her Boron In The Wild World Tour. The album will contain 18 songs, as well as a collaboration with J. Cole.

Furthermore, Tems’ Born In The Wild World Tour also kicks off, this month, The opening date is set for June 12, in London. The tour will last all the way until November 15, where it concludes in Sydney, Australia. The African dates set for October 19 and 25 will be announced at a later date. North American dates begin on August 22, in Miami Beach.
