Teyana Taylor gifts Lil Wayne “Rose From Harlem” Jordan 1s
Teyana Taylor continues to make major moves outside of being an artist, as she concluded her “The Last Rose Petal 2″ Farewell Tour, last fall. That confirmed that Taylor is retiring as an artist, but is still directing music videos of many fans’ favorite artists. She also appeared in the new film “A Thousand And One.”
Meanwhile, Taylor also still has an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand. She recently unveiled her own Jordan 1 sneaker, which is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 “A Rose From Harlem.” This still hasn’t been released to the public yet, but has received massive love for its design, on social media.
As a result, Lil Wayne is one of the few who owns a pair of these Jordan 1s. Wayne took to social media to express his appreciation for Taylor gifting him these sneakers, as well as to praise how great they look. The name of this pair is based on Taylor’s 2018 single, and is expected to be released sometime this year.
“These b*tches is beautiful. Also, you told me it was because of the roses that I gave you and thank you. You ain’t gotta give me nothing back. I can’t match this.”
