Teyana Taylor hosts “A Tribute to the Nominees” Grammy event
Grammy weekend has been kicking off plenty of star-studded events all around Los Angeles, since Wendesday. Teyana Taylor was in attendance for “A Tribute to the Nominees: A Pre-Grammy® Celebration,” as she hosted this event, at the Globe Theatre Los Angeles.
Artists Elle E.D. and Josh Moreland delivered performances, as well as a surprise set by Estelle. The event was also presented by Devine Evans, Kristine Mirelle of Music Hustler, and Queens of The Underground.
A Tribute To The Nominees also helped benefit a great cause. A portion of the ticket proceeds were sent towards to the Los Angeles Boys and Girls, in order to better fund music in local communities. As a result, this provides music & arts programming for the youth of LA, which is in collaboration with Guitar Center Music Foundation.
Teyana was also pictured on the red carpet, as she sported a brown and black blazer, which contained a unique red design at the bottom. The Harlem native recently ventured on her “The Last Rose Petal 2″ Tour, last summer. That kicked off on August 3, at the Something In The Water Festival. 19 dates were available, as the final show concluded on September 8, in Paris, France. Teyana also trends consistently on social media, due to her showing her beautiful family, as she has two children with former NBA player Iman Shumpert.
