Teyana Taylor announces separation from Iman Shumpert 

Teyana Taylor and former NBA athlete Iman Shumpert have been one of social media’s favorite couples, over the past half decade. Furthermore, the two have been married since 2016, and had two children together.

However, Taylor and Shumpert’s marriage is now coming to an end. On Sunday, Teyana revealed on Instagram, that the two have been separated, as this has been the case for a while now. Moreover, Taylor added that infidelity wasn’t the reason for the split.

“Not too much on my bestie! In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.”

It’s very clear that Teyana still intends to remain friends with Shumpert. Conducting business ventures with him is also very much still in her future plans as well.

Taylor and Shumpert also recently sold their $4 million Los Angeles mansion, this past summer. That may have been an indication that a separation may have been on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Teyana also continues to make moves, following her retirement as an artist. She is still creative directing music videos, and also recently starred in the “A Thousand And One” film.
