The Weeknd earns fifth diamond single with “Earned It” 

The Weeknd has established himself over the past 10 years as one of the most dominant artists in the world. This is evident based on his streaming numbers for his singles and albums, as well as his sold out tours.

The Weeknd has since had many classic records of his under his belt, which also includes “Earned It.” This initially appeared on his 2015 “Beauty Behind The Madness” album. The single peaked at number three in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album also debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.

Earned It has also now earned another massive milestone, eight years after its release. It has now been certified diamond in the US, after selling over 10 million units, according to Chart Data. 

Earned It also now becomes The Weeknd’s fifth diamond single. Among the others are “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Starboy,” and “Blinding Lights.”

In 2022, Weeknd also went on to release his fifth studio album, “Dawn FM.” That went on to debut at number two in the US, and was his second album in two years.
