Over the past week, the upcoming Hulu documentary about Freaknik era in Atlanta in the 1980s and 90s has been trending heavily. This is currently in production, and set to be titled ‘Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told.’ Uncle Luke and Jermaine Dupri are also two of the documentary’s executive producers.

As a result, many users on social media have been discussing whose parents, aunts and uncles will be on full display for the world to see, in this documentary. Freaknik has also been bashed by many for incidents of sexual assault at these events, as that ultimately led to it being shutdown, around 1998.

Meanwhile, it’s believed that Kanye attended Freaknik, due to footage that’s circulating. He’s seen sitting down as a woman nearby is dancing. It’s still unclear when this video was actually taken. Others believe that it’s not actually from the Freaknik era, but sometime when Kanye blew up as an artist in the 2000s. However, Kanye hasn’t addresses this, and may likely not end up doing so.
