After dropping some fire mixtapes from 2012 through 2014, Tinashe made her way to the mainstream. She signed with RCA and then she released her single, “2 On,” featuring ScHoolboy Q, which became a summer anthem. The song was taken from Aquarius, her debut album.
Tinashe owned the summer with “2 On” and now she is one of the biggest stars in the game and she intends to stay there. When she went to “The Breakfast Club,” Tinashe told them she had more hits. Now, Tinashe is proving this with her single, “Pretend,” which A$AP Rocky is featured on.
This year, Tinashe has seen her dreams of breaking through in the mainstream come true for her. All of this is due to how “2 On” broke through and Tinashe is definitely enjoying every moment of it. Recently, she ran across a “2 On” tattoo on Instagram and Tinashe reposted it on her profile.
