Tory Lanez speaks after being sentenced to 10 years in prison

Earlier this week, Tory Lanez was officially sentenced, after being convicted in December, of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. As a result, Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison, as he was initially convicted of three felony counts. Megan initially came out on Instagram Live in August 2020, and claimed that Tory shot her in Los Angeles, after an argumenr, a month prior.

However, the Toronto rapper is credited for almost one year of time served. An appeal hearing is also being held on August 15, but, Tory is likely going to be denied that opportunity.

Meanwhile, Tory has just officially released a statement to his Instagram feed, amid the aftermath of his sentencing. He emphasized that he took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that he shared with all parties involved. However, Tory is not apologizing for the charges that he believes he was “wrongfully convicted of.” Furthermore, Tory has even received over 70 letters of support, which were sent to the judge. Two of even were even from Iggy Azalea and Mario.
