Last month, Tory Lanez was officially sentenced, after being found guilty in December, of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. As a result, the Toronto rapper received a 10-year prison sentence. However, almost a year served was credited.

Meanwhile, more information is surfacing, regarding Tory’s prison length time. According to VladTV, Tory reportedly had a plea deal offer of accepting four years in prison. But, Tory ultimately decided to take it to trial, as he 100% believed that he was an innocent man.

Ultimately, Tory also went on to post a statement on his Instagram feed, in the days after the sentencing. He reaffirmed that he’s an innocent man, and wouldn’t give an apology to Megan Thee Stallion, for something he supposedly didn’t do.

Meanwhile, last week, it was also revealed that. bail hearing for Tory is scheduled on September 14, as he’s appealing the sentence. This comes as a result of the initial September 5 date being postponed. Furthermore, court documents also stated that Tory is now married to Raina Chassagne, who is the mother of his 6-year-old son. If Tory posts bond this month, she and the child would love with him in California.
