Tory Lanez says he’s posted his last tweet, after quoting Bible verses, due to him catching third felony charge in Megan Thee Stallion shooting trial

Tory Lanez posts final tweet ahead of going to trial

Over the past week and a half, jury selection has been held, in Tory Lanez’s Megan Thee Stallion shooting trial. Opening statements will occur next week. However, this week, Tory was hit with a third felony charge in this case.

This felony against Tory is for felony negligent discharge of a firearm. The previous two were assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm. This also comes as Tory was released from house arrest, in order to prepare for the trial. Tory was initially placed on house arrest, after reportedly assaulting August Alsina, a few months ago.

However, it appears that Tory is finally feeling the effects of all of the backlash against him. On Wednesday, he posted in what is supposedly his final tweet. Tory quoted Bible scriptures, as he’s confident that things will work out in his favor.

“I’m going to leave this here one more time …and watch how it ages … NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER … AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST ME IN JUDGEMENT SHALL BE CONDEMNED u sit and watch now …. And don’t ever question the GOD I serve again . This is my last tweet.”

If convicted, Tory faces 22 years and eight months in prison. He initially plead not guilty to two of the first two felony charges, in November 2020.
