A powerful force on the Houston mixtape scene, Trae Tha Truth signed with the popular label, Grand Hustle Records. Last year, T.I. made his presence known after missing two years out of the game due to prison sentences. Back focused on the game, T.I. returned with new music and began expanding the roster of his label.
In 2012, T.I. signed, among others, Trae Tha Truth and Iggy Azalea. Trae Tha Truth immediately released his The Blackprint mixtape. Much like his other projects, the mixtape was met with strong feedback. However, on this latest project, Trae Tha Truth made his Grand Hustle debut.
Now, it looks as if Trae Tha Truth is preparing for his official Grand Hustle Records’ debut. Currently, Trae Tha Truth is working on his album, Banned. While the album is in the works, there is no official release date for the project. But, as a sign of good faith, the official cover was released by Trae Tha Truth today.
