Trae Young gets into heated argument with Jamelle McMillan

Trae Young is one of the most passionate players in the NBA. In 2021, he led the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals. Last year and this year, the Hawks fell into the Play-In tournament. When they made the 2022 playoffs, Trae’s Hawks lost to the Miami Heat. Tonight, their playoff hopes started in Miami. While they won the game to earn the seven seed, Trae Young got into it with Jamelle McMillan. He is a Hawks assistant and the son of former HC, Nate McMillan.

Trae Young can score the basketball, without a doubt. Before his passing, Kobe Bryant said Trae Young was one of his favorite players to watch. Two years ago, he put the entire NBA on notice. As the fifth seed, Young led the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals. They seemed like the real deal, as they pushed the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks to six games. Ultimately, Giannis and company were too much for them. However, experts felt the Hawks would be back.

Trae Young anticipated a year where the Atlanta Hawks got back to winning. Instead, his ongoing issues with Nate McMillan led to the Hawks bringing in a new coach midseason. Former Utah Jazz head coach, Quin Snyder, took over as the Hawks’ coach. Given the midseason replacing, the rest of the coaching staff stayed. This meant Nate’s son, Jamelle McMillan remains an assistant coach. Tonight, tensions spilled over during the Play-In game vs the Heat. Trae and Jamelle were out there arguing.
