Travis Scott confirms “Utopia” date & “Circus Maximus” trailer
This past weekend, Travis Scott rocked the stage at Rolling Loud Miami, as he headlined day two. Travis is a frequent headliner at this festival, as he also went on to confirm that his highly anticipated fifth studio album “Utopia” is finally arriving on July 28. Furthermore, on that same day, his “Circus Maximus” film is also arriving.
Meanwhile, Travis has just taken to social media to officially confirm that Utopia is in fact set to drop on July 28. In addition to the release date, Travis also unveiled one of the four alternate covers for the album.
In regards to Travis’ Circus Maximus film, the trailer for it has also now been released. It’ll be screened in select AMC Theaters, starting on July 27. This film is described as a “surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”
Utopia will serve as Travis’ first album since August 2018, back when “Astroworld” was released. That project contained the Billboard Hot 100 and diamond certified “Sicko Mode” single with Drake.
