Travis Scott paused his concert at Coney Island, to order fans to get off of a truss; One wore Spider-Man costume [VIDEO]
Travis Scott pauses concert to get fans to get off of a truss
On Monday night, Travis Scott had another concert, in New York City. This was at Coney Art Walls in Coney Island, as he joined Meek Mill. According to TMZ, Travis both DJed and performed.
The Travis show definitely got lit, as a few fans decided to climb a lightning truss. They decided to hang on there, while watching Travis perform. One of them was even surprisingly wearing a Spider-Man costume.
Travis noticed the fans hanging on the truss, and paused his show to get them to come down. This appears to be a lesson learned from the backlash of his Astroworld Festival in November, in his hometown of Houston. Over 300 people were injured, with 10 dying from those injuries.
Fans also accused Travis of knowingly continuing on at Astroworld Fest, as fans were dying. Travis has since faced over 300 lawsuits, but has been back to performing on the big stages again. He performed at the Billboard Music Awards, and is also set to perform at Primavera Sound, in South America, this fall. Travis is also working on his upcoming “Utopia” album.
