It’s been almost a year now, since Virgil Abloh suddenly passed away, at the age of 41. This was reportedly due to suffering from cardiac angiosarcoma, which is a rare form of cancer. Abloh was known for being one of the biggest fashion designers in the world. He was the creative director of Louis Vuitton, and also founded the Off White brand.

However, celebrations of Abloh continue, as the first-ever Mirror Mirror Music Festival is coming to Miami. This will take place on December 3, at the FPL Solar Amphitheater, in Bayfront Park. This event was started by Virgil Abloh Securities, which is  a Virgil-founded creative company. This is also during Miami’s famous Art Basel week.

There will be plenty of star-studded performers, as well. According to Complex, Travis Scott, Skepta, and Benji B are some of the confirmed artists set to hit the stage. Shannon Abloh, who is Virgil’s widow, Virgil Abloh Securities CEO, and managing director, went on to release a statement about this festival.

“With his close collaborators, we wanted to bring everyone together to celebrate Virgil—his legacy, his passion, and his care for others. He believed his real work was championing others and we will continue his work supporting youth in the arts with the launch of the Virgil Abloh Foundation in 2023.”
