At the close of 2012, not many were expecting yet another new star to emerge and have real success. Trinidad James proved them all wrong and he went over and beyond in the last two months of 2012. “All Gold Everything” was one of 2012’s biggest hits and it opened doors for Trinidad James in 2013.
Just in time for the spring season, Trinidad James released “Females Welcomed” as a single, though it was originally a part of Don’t Be S.A.F.E. “Females Welcomed” has become a breakout hit single and it has caught on with the masses. Before this, Trinidad James caught attention with the “All Gold Everything” remix with T.I., Young Jeezy, and 2 Chainz.
Trinidad James is one of the newest stars in the game, giving Def Jam a much-needed shot in the arm from the South. During the summer of 2012, DJ Khaled moved We the Best Music Group, which meant the loss of Ace Hood. This void has been more than filled with Trinidad James, who spoke on his singles with “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1.
