One thing Tyga has taught the world is to never count him out. He rose to fame as one of the first viral rappers, with “Coconut Juice,” back in 2008. During that time, he signed with Young Money, where he was overshadowed by Drake and Nicki Minaj. Tyga kept working, dropped “Rack City,” and proved he belonged on the roster.

In 2014, Tyga abruptly left Young Money/Cash Money, and faced immediate backlash. At the time, the whole world seemed to be against him. But, soon Lil Wayne expressed displeasure with his own label. Within four years, Lil Wayne would exit Cash Money Records. He, alongside Drake and Nicki Minaj left. Soon, Tyga reunited with Nicki Minaj, returning with another big record, which followed his “Taste” comeback.

Tyga is going on four years since “Taste” and that time saw him work with Doja Cat. She featured him on her single, “Juicy,” which was her breakthrough track. Now that Doja Cat is one of the biggest names in the industry, she returned the favor to Tyga. Doja Cat gave Tyga the assist on his single, “Freaky Deaky,” and now the numbers are in. The song has already reached number one on Spotify.
