Over the past three years, NPR has won big, with their Tiny Desk Performances. They’ve brought some of the biggest artists to perform on this stage, as Larry June was the latest, last week. That came after high demand from fans, to see the San Francisco rapper perform.
Last week, it was also revealed that Usher would be having a Tiny Desk performance, in collaboration for a Juneteenth celebration. Now, that is here, as one of the greatest singers and performers ever, delivered several of his classic hit records, on Tiny Desk. These include “Superstar,” “Confessions Pt. 2,” and more. Eric Bellinger and Vedo also made appearances.
Usher has been very low key lately, in regards to new music releases. It’s been a long time, as his last project was “A“,” which was a collab EP with Zaytoven, back in October 2018. Usher will be featured on City Girls’ new “Good Love” single on Friday, though.
There has also been debates on Usher possibly participating in a Verzuz battle. Many want to see him take on Chris Brown, as CB recently said on “Drink Champs,” that he’s open to making that happen.
