Van Lathan calls Michael Rappaport out for demanding the NBA cancel games, due to black-on-black crime, and saying black people don’t care about these issues; Lathan asks Rappaport how does he know what black people do or don’t care about

Van Lathan Michael RappaportApparently, Van Lathan took Michael Rappaport’s black card, and he’s no longer invited to the cookout. Many fans were upset, after Michael Rappaport and Kevin Durant got into it. Fans accused Rappaport of starting with KD and getting him fined.

Michael Rappaport, a prominent actor, is often speaking on issues, impacting the black culture. While considered an “ally,” many have said he needs to know his place. Others have said, Michael Rappaport needs to mind his own business.

Van Lathan called Michael Rappaport out, for his Instagram post, highlighting black-on-black crime. In this post, Rappaport asked the NBA, and other leagues, to cancel games over this, asking where the outrage is. When Van Lathan called him out, Michael Rappaport asked why this doesn’t concern black people, and Lathan asked him how he knows what does and does not concern the black community.
