Everything about the fast food industry can be frustrating. Above all, the employees do not get paid enough, given the amount of work they do. But the customers also have valid reasons to be upset, especially when their orders are wrong. Aside from that, the wait in the drive thru lines can be very lengthy. A video has gone viral from Twitter showing a Taco Bell customer and employees reaching their limits, in the drive thru.

Over the past few months, there have been an increase in videos showing fast food workers going off. In addition, there are all of these reports about the economy’s health. Few people see the correlation between the two situations. Given the economic challenges, the front line workers are asking for a raise in their wages. Because they aren’t getting adequately paid, they lose the incentive when it comes to the job, which creates quite the conundrum.

Even something as simple as a fast food order has become complicated in a post-2020 world. Many people often complain about their orders being wrong. However, none of that gives anyone the right to disrespect the people working. There is a White man who learned this the hard way. During a late night run to Taco Bell, the man got into an argument with two Black workers. The conversation went from an argument to the man taking a threatening tone, before using cruel words, and driving off.
