The past decade has seen people’s actions called into question. Long gone are the days of people being told to put up with mistreatment, for various reasons. Now, it’s more common for people to speak out and take action against wrongdoing. Some instances have seen people overreacting. However, situations like these are necessary actions. A man tried to force a kiss on a woman. She didn’t want his attention, in that way. As a result, she punched the man.
For centuries, men have tried to take advantage of women. Through the years, women have endured a lot. It wasn’t until the 1920s that women even earned the right to vote in America. Decades later, the gap between men’s wages and women’s wages still remained wide. It wasn’t until 2016 that a woman received a major party nomination to run for president. After that, it wasn’t until 2020 that a woman was elected to serve as Vice President of the United States.
While women, as a whole, have put up with a lot, one woman had enough. When she was out, a man tried to force her into a kiss. Initially, the situation looked romantic. Some who viewed the video said it looked like the woman was indeed going to kiss him. However, the woman was actually furious. As a result, she took action in self-defense. The woman turned to look the man in the eye and then she punched him in the face several times.
