Woman reveals her boyfriend doused her in gasoline and burned her alive, in front of her children, on Valentine’s Day

Woman was burned alive by boyfriend on Valentine’s Day

Many people are explaining some vicious acts as being “mental illness.” While some people do struggle with that, cruelty also still exists. A 26-year-old Wisconsin woman, Savannah Bailey, has had her entire life upended because of cruelty. Her husband did the unthinkable, on Valentine’s Day, when he set her on fire. This is supposed to be the woman he vowed to love forever. Not only did he burn her alive, he did it in front of their two children.

Savannah Bailey admits their relationship had gone through some struggles. During Valentine’s Day 2020, the couple was putting forth the effort to make it work. However, the two ended up getting into another argument. Understandably, marriage isn’t easy, no relationship is. Even in the best of relationships, disagreements and arguments happen. At the same time, most people act rationally, and don’t make attempts on the lives of people they claim to love.

Detailing her situation, Savannah Bailey said the morning after their argument, she woke up to her husband pouring gasoline on her. As she still laid in bed, Bailey described her husband as lighting a match and watching her fight the flames. The man would take their then-infant daughters outside, dropping them in the snow, as Bailey ran to get the flames off her body. While she fought for her life, her husband ran away, abandoning her and the children.

Bailey managed to escape the home, after her husband blocked the door with a sofa. He was later arrested after posting his location on Facebook. Bailey, meanwhile, was rushed to the hospital, where she survived her injuries.
