Woman sues Travis Scott after suffering miscarriage at Astroworld Fest

Travis Scott is beginning to get back into more public performances, in the aftermath of his Astroworld Festival, last fall. Travis is booked to perform at Primavera Fest in South America in November. This weekend, Travis will also hit another big stage, at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. Last weekend, Travis also performed at E11EVEN in Miami, for an afterparty for the F1 Miami Grand Prix event, in the city.

Travis is still dealing with many legal issues though, from Astroworld Fest. He’s been hit with over 300 lawsuits, as over 300 people were injured, with 10 dying from their injuries.

According to TMZ, Travis is being sued by another Astroworld Fest attendee. This is by a woman who claims that she suffered a miscarriage, at the festival. Live Nation, Scoremore Holdings, ASM Global are other defendants listed in this lawsuit.

This woman has been identified as Shanazia Williamson. She claims that she was trampled at Astroworld Festival, and injured her shoulder, back, chest, leg, stomach and other areas. The lawsuit states that the festival’s “failure to plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event was a direct and proximate cause of Shanazia’s injuries and death of her and Jarawd’s (Williamson’s partner) unborn child.”

Williamson reportedly first filed a lawsuit, back on November 21. The lawsuit now, is an amended complaint, and files for wrongful death. It’s also unclear how long that Williamson was, into her pregnancy.
