Woman who was injured in shooting of Takeoff speaks out for first time since incident [VIDEO]

Woman injured in Takeoff shooting opens up about night of incident

It’s now been over two months, since Migos rapper Takeoff was shot and killed, in Houston. That occurred in the early hours of November 1, while he and Quavo were at a bowling alley in the city, 810 Billiards & Bowling.

An argument between Quavo and a group of men ensued, as the venue was getting ready to close. That came as they went through a heated dice game. Shots were soon fired, as Takeoff was hit in the head and torso.

Quavo’s assistant was also shot, as well as a 24-year-old woman. The woman has since been identified as Sydney Leday. In a new interview with KHOU 11, Leday opened up about the night of the shooting, as she explained how she was shot, while trying to run, as soon as shots were unloaded. At the time, Leday was out with friends celebrating her birthday, and Halloween.

“That’s when I knew something was wrong after the fact. Because I thought these people that were arguing was just playing, like I said, the energy that was in the room before everybody around the table playing a game of dice. I just thought it was friendly banter.”

Leday went on to explain that she saw that Quavo wasn’t in a positive space, and noticed how upset he was, around 2:30am. Soon, the shots were fired, as things turned horrible quickly.

33-year-old Patrick Clark has since been arrested. He was initially held on $2 million bond, but was reduced to $1 million. This month, he was surprisingly able to post that and be released, as he is under certain conditions of release.
