Every day, people fall asleep on the job, but that comes with different stakes. Plain and simple, everybody doesn’t work the same job. A librarian falling asleep may lead to some books going missing. But a person falling asleep while operating a forklift means a lot of lives could be at stake. Recently, a video showing this taking place went viral.
Most Americans complain about being overworked and overpaid. This has been an argument people have made since the beginning of time. However, over the past few years, people have increasingly complained about the wealth divide. Until people are fairly compensated, mistakes will continue to happen on the job. Meanwhile, the wealthy argue that workers will always look to duck work.
One person was on the job, working at some kind of warehouse or home improvement store. Regardless, the person fell asleep while operating a forklift. Sleeping, the person’s forklift began moving and crashed into a shelf filled with merchandise. After that, all of the shelves’ merchandise began falling from the top down to the bottom, creating a major, and very dangerous, mess.
