Five seasons into “Love & Hip Hop” on VH1, Yandy and Mendeecees seemed to have the only stable relationship. Despite love being the operative word of the series, most relationships are in shambles. But, none of that existed with Yandy and Mendeecees.
All of this changed when Mendeecees was released from prison at the beginning of season five. This was when Samantha, Mendeecees’ baby mama was introduced. Following this, Mendeecees’ assistant, Remy, was introduced to the show, having conflict with Yandy.
In last week’s episode, Yandy and Mendeecees made peace after weeks of fighting, on camera. With this, they are preparing for the birth of their child, their first daughter and Yandy wants to be a Harris, like her sons and boyfriend before the child is born, so she is legally changing her name and having a ceremony for it, before the wedding. The fans on Twitter showed Yandy no mercy for this move.
