YG Posts $250,000 Bond After Arrest For Robbery Charge; Will Still Perform Nipsey Hussle Tribute at #GRAMMYs

Early yesterday morning in Los Angeles, YG’s home in the San Fernando valley home as they had search and arrest warrants. This was due to a robbery charge. He was transported to jail and bond was set at $250,000.

YG hired Meek Mill’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, and is now officially a free man for now, according to CBS Los Angeles. He was finally able to post bond last night. Police though have still not made it clear how the LA rapper was involved in the robbery he’s being charged with.

YG was investigated for murder in July of last year. This was an incident where a Cadillac Escalade that was registered to him was in a high-speed chase in LA. It that resulted in a 65-year-old being shot and killed while riding a motorcycle.

Tacopina ensures that all charges will be cleared in the end. He noted that investigators brought this charge suddenly to them as they never knew about it. YG will be arraigned on Tuesday. As of now though, he is set to perform with the Nipsey Hussle tribute at the GRAMMYs on Sunday at STAPLES Center.
