New blood exists on the West Coast and YG is now at the forefront of the West Coast. He has taken over the game with the “My Nigga” track with Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan. Since then, YG landed a secure release date for My Krazy Life and a remix with Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Nicki Minaj.
YG is the hottest thing coming out of Los Angeles and he clearly has all the momentum. There is another week before YG releases his new album and he is already receiving comparisons to greatness. Some are saying no West Coast artist has had a movement like this since Dr. Dre.
Recently, YG talked to Nessa of Wild 94.9 and they discussed the new album. He spoke on the momentum behind the My Krazy Life album that has helped him become one of 2013-2014’s biggest breakout artists. YG also talked about the album being compared to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic in some circles.
