Demi Lovato is getting dragged on this lovely 3rd day of Black History Month. The news about 21 Savage possibly getting deported for being a UK citizen has been everywhere, and like any other situation, Black Twitter came with the memes.
Demi tweeted:
“So far 21 Savage memes have been my favorite part of the super bowl 🤷🏼♀️.”
Sis should’ve just sat there and ate her food because Black Twitter didn’t take too kindly to her tweet. One person tweeted “demi lovato acting like she wasn’t bout to get deported to heaven. gotta relax b.” Another fan tweeted “This is kinda tacky considering a few months back, you were the butt of the jokes… but I guys compassion doesn’t work both ways.”
Demi then took to twitter to clarify her tweet about 21. She said:
“If you’re gonna come at me for making a joke, try coming at me with something original not involving drugs.”
”Fuck Twitter. This is why I don’t tweet anymore.”
She then posted a meme showing that she wasn’t laughing at the fact that he was being deported, she was laughing at the fact that he is originally British.
Demi has now deactivated her twitter account.
Everyone got the jokes about 21 Savage being from the UK. No one laughed about him being possibly deported. If it’s one unspoken rule that I know from black twitter, only WE can get these jokes off about US.
