Young Dolph has always made a name for himself as one of the best independent rappers in the game. As a result of that, he’s been able to keep his money without dealing with the issues that many rappers do at major record labels. Dolph recently took to Twitter to confess to signing three deals since 2015 but many viewed those tweets as simply trolling.
Now, Dolph is continuing to make sure everyone knows he did it all on his own. The Memphis rapper said that to close out Black History Month, he’s letting everyone know that he’s the only black man to come into hip-hop with more money than any rapper who’s touched a microphone. He started putting himself on notice in the south with the release of his High Class Street music mixtape series which began in 2011.
Dolph put out his new album “Role Model” this past fall which included the hit single “Major.” Right now, he’s engaging with fans as he’s giving out either a camo Dodge Hellcat or $30,000 for the best video to his song.
