From the moment Young Hollywood met Amara La Negra, there was instant tension. While the fans love Amara, Young Hollywood felt she was unprofessional for bringing her mother to their meeting. In his confessional, he even asked whose abuela (grandma) was that.
Amara La Negra is the instant “Love & Hip Hop Miami” fan favorite, because of her bubbly personality. On top of that, she is a natural woman, representing for real women. Because of the media, people only expect a Latina to look a certain way.
Young Hollywood basically mocked her Afro-Latina heritage, throughout their scenes. This led to a major backlash among fans, who ended up going after him on Instagram Live. There, he defended his comments, while being called a racist, and laughed off his “Nutella Queen” comments.
