Over the weekend, Lil Wayne offered some devastating, but not necessarily unsurprising news. He revealed he was ending his rap career, something he has discussed, often, since 2008. Going on thirty-four, he is ready to move on.
Plus, his dealings with Cash Money Records, the only label he’s ever known, have gone sour. Since 2014, Lil Wayne has been going at all things Cash Money. Oddly enough, this includes Young Thug, despite him never being signed to the label.
Young Thug had beef with Lil Wayne, which stemmed to Game dissing him, too. With all of those situations squashed, Young Thug is among the fans disappointed in Wayne’s news. He took to Twitter to let Lil Wayne know what he means to him and to diffuse any tension they may have had.
