Young Thug’s brother denies that he snitched in plea deal
Last week, more developments arose in the huge YSL RICO case. Gunna was able to get out of jail, as a result of entering a plea deal. That was for one count of RICO conspiracy. YSL Co-Founder Walter Murphy and artists Slimelife Shawty and Lil Duke also entered guilty pleas, in order to get out of jail. They also admitted that YSL is a gang, and not just a record label.
However, Thug’s brother was also able to cop a plea, according to WSB-TV 2. He goes by Unfoonk, aka Quantavious Grier, as many are now accusing him of snitching. Grier plead guilty to one count of theft by receiving stolen property and one count of violating the RICO act.
With this plea, Grier took a 12-year sentence, which includes two years commuted and 10 years of probation. A judge also included several conditions that he must follow. Among them are not speaking to Thug until the trial is over, performing 750 hours of community service, and follow a daily curfew that lasts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Grier would also have to testify in court, if called on to do so. This comes as the Atlanta D.A also revealed that they’d offer more plea deals, to take down Thug.
Therefore, many are still deciding to accuse Grier of snitching on Thug. As a result, he took to Instagram to deny that this was the case.
“Damn people really think I told on my own brother SMH,” Grier explained. “Show me in my paperwork I told on anybody LOL. I’m not even fenna entertain any of it, peace and blessings.”
