Young Thug’s YSL indictment to be highlighted in upcoming docuseries

Young Thug’s RICO case to be highlighted in Rolling Stone docuseries

Two months ago, Young Thug, Gunna, and their YSL crew got hit with a 56-count indictment, in Atlanta. Authorities investigated crimes committed by the YSL gang/record label, since 2013. Alleged crimes listed were RICO, murders, and other criminal street gang activities.

Thug and Gunna have each since been denied requests for bond. They will also remain in jail until both of their trials, in January 2023. Gunna had this bond request appearance in court earlier this week, where he looked much more slim.

Now, a docuseries is on the way, which will discuss Thug’s current legal circumstances. This will be created by Rolling Stone Films and Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions, according to Variety. A podcast for the docuseries will also be on its way. Thug’s success as an artist will also be documented, as well as more ongoing developments in his RICO case.

Executive producer Gus Wenner, the CEO of Rolling Stone, has since released a statement about this upcoming docuseries. He says Rolling Stone is thrilled to partner with the talented team at Jigsaw, to tell this ambitious and important story about one of the most compelling and controversial music scenes, of the moment.
