Cardi B is one of the hottest rappers to come out of New York City, particularly The Bronx, as well as one of the biggest stars in the world. She is also now giving back to her Bronx community even more, as she visited her former middle school there, on Tuesday morning.

According to TMZ, Cardi went to I.S. 232, which is located in Morris Heights. Cardi was there from 6th-8th grade. Today, she went on to surprise everyone in attendance.

Cardi hosted a Q&A for the students, and even decided to donate $100,000 to the school. These funds will be going towards after-school programs, such as tutoring and music/dance. Cardi’s appearance at I.S 232 was set up as part of collaborating with the Queens-based non-profit organization, Community Capacity Development.

Cardi also trended last weekend, after getting a face tattoo, on her jawline. This was done in red ink, and had the name of her 1-year-old son, Wave, done. Cardi also got a tattoo of her 4-year-old daughter Kulture’s name, on her arm. This summer, Cardi also released her first single of 2022, “Hot Sh*t.” This also included two huge features from Lil Durk and Kanye West.
