Desmond Bane really put himself on the map, this season. As the Memphis Grizzlies have risen, Desmond Bane has risen. Bane is a role player for the Grizzlies, but key in their historic season. Not only did Desmond Bane help the Grizzlies tie a franchise record 56 wins, he was key in their eleven game winning streak. Desmond Bane is working hard to make sure the Grizzlies go on a two game winning streak to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Desmond Bane has been a consistent player for the Grizzlies, in the playoffs. Owning the NBA’s second best record, the Memphis Grizzlies have been stunned by the Timberwolves. Given the Grizzlies’ record, they expected to dominate Minnesota. Instead, Desmond Bane was forced to watch as the Timberwolves won Game 1 in Memphis, in convincing fashion. At the same time, Desmond Bane was a part of the Grizzlies’ 26 point comeback to win Game 3, in Minnesota.

Desmond Bane was getting frustrated in Game 5, tonight. It looked like the Timberwolves were going to take a 3-2 series lead. Tensions between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves came to a head. When Desmond Bane went to inbound the ball, he was standing beside Chris Fitch. When Desmond Bane tried to get space, he actually pushed Chris Fitch.
