Second Drake NYC show paused after fan falls down from balcony
Sunday featured the night night of Drake performing at the legendary Apollo Theater, in Harlem. The first night featured Drake bringing out Dipset, and performing some of his classic hit records. Drake initially revealed that he’d be performing on an injured ankle, but fans weren’t disappointed, at all. These concerts come after they were postponed multiple times, in November and December.
However, night two at the Apollo featured some drama. Drake had to pause the show, due to a fan jumping off from the balcony section, of the venue. Some equipment was also damaged, as this was quickly tended to, so the concert could resume quickly. This occurred while 21 Savage performed “Rich Flex” with Drake. However, the fan appeared to end up not being injured.
Prior to this fan incident, Drake brought out Lil Uzi Vert, to perform. Uzi is fresh off of a solid 2022, where he released his new “Red & Blue” EP, and had another hit record, in “Just Wanna Rock.” He’s also trending for still dating City Girls’ rapper, JT.
