Eric Gordon savagely breaks LeBron James’ ankles with insane crossover | Lakers at Rockets [VIDEO]

Eric Gordon savagely breaks LeBron James’ ankles with insane crossover

Last night, the Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers in overtime. The game was in the Lakers’ full control. LeBron James had the game winning shot and he passed it off to Carmelo Anthony, who missed. Sending the game into overtime, Jalen Green took over and showed his potential as a franchise leader by ensuring the Rockets’ win. Meanwhile, this game is indicative of how the rest of the season has gone for the Lakers.

After completely overhauling their roster, the Lakers expected to be the best team in the West. There were critics who believed the Lakers’ roster was too old to compete, though. But “experts” said their experience would make the difference. With the season almost over, the Lakers are on the outside looking in. This year, the Suns, Warriors, Grizzlies, Jazz, Mavericks, and Nuggets have a lock on the guaranteed playoff spot.

The Houston Rockets, meanwhile, are only playing for experience. While they are a “bad” team, they are dangerous, as their games with teams like the Lakers are “trap” games. When LeBron James went to defend Eric Gordon, Gordon got the best of him. Eric Gordon broke LeBron James’ ankles and then got the points for the Rockets. For the Lakers, it is another loss, as they are now fighting to hold onto a spot for the play-in.
