Way back when, Jay-Z used to always drop albums and always had singles out. Now, it’s a rare moment, the Roc Nation era averages out to every four years. His latest offering is 4:44 and the album was met with strong reviews.
On top of it all, 4:44 became his thirteenth consecutive album to debut at number one. Also, like his other twelve albums, 4:44 received a platinum certification. All in all, it’s a good Jay-Z era, right now, as he’s making a lot of big moves.
A few months ago, a photo surfaced of Jay-Z on the islands. People caught a candid photo, but Jay-Z was probably shooting the “Bam” music video. Though it just dropped today, “Bam,” featuring Damian Marley, is the Video of the Week.
