Recent slippage from the Philadelphia 76ers have taken them from the second seed to the fourth seed. In a matter of days, the East’s entire dynamics have flipped. The Boston Celtics went from outside of the playoff picture, in January, to holding the top seed. Now, the East is led by the Celtics, Heat, Bucks, Sixers, Bulls, and Raptors. This means the play-in now consists of the Cavs, Hornets, Nets, and Hawks.

Last night, the Philadelphia 76ers had to go to Phoenix to play. Out West, the Phoenix Suns own the NBA’s best record. The West is led by the Suns, Grizzlies, Warriors, Mavericks, Jazz, and Nuggets. Their play-in picture consists of the Timberwolves, Clippers, Pelicans, and Lakers. Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns will be the only 60-win team of this season.

Hosting the Philadelphia 76ers, the Suns trailed by double digits throughout most of the game. The first two quarters saw the Sixers in control of the game. But the Suns have allowed teams to take early leads against them. Normally, when the final buzzer sounds, the Suns still come out of it with a double digit victory. Last night was no different and, after the game, James Harden refused to shake hands with Chris Paul.
