Jimmy Butler shocked the NBA, when he was ruled out for Game 5. Citing knee soreness, Jimmy Butler did not play in Game 5, against the Hawks. The surprise was Jimmy Butler risking a closeout game, due to his knee. Thankfully for the Miami Heat, Jimmy Butler missing the game didn’t cost them the win, as they would have had a hard time with the Hawks, in Game 6.

Jimmy Butler was not the only member of the Miami Heat to miss Game 5. Kyle Lowry would also be ruled out for the Miami Heat, ahead of Game 5. With the Heat not playing Jimmy Butler or Kyle Lowry, the Hawks had a major opportunity to win. Last year, the Atlanta Hawks surprised a lot of teams by seizing the first opportunity to win.

Jimmy Butler joined the Miami Heat in 2019, only months after Dwyane Wade retired. In Jimmy Butler’s lone season with the Heat, he led them to the NBA Finals. This year, the Heat are looking like title contenders, again. Right now, the Heat are handling the first round, and Max Strus hit a three pointer and Jimmy Butler had a very interesting celebration.
