Currently, Karlae is known as one of the rising artists on the Atlanta scene. She is signed to Young Thug’s YSL label. But, before she was an artist, Karlae was known as Jerrika, Young Thug’s girlfriend. In 2017, Jerrika aired out her issues with Young Thug for the world to see. While they didn’t work out as a couple, business has worked out well for them. Karlae is having some success out here.

In 2020, Karlae began pursuing music and she had a few singles out. However, everyone was forced into lockdown and it put things on hold. Last year, Karlae made appearances on Young Thug’s YSL compilation album. Even though she’s had an unorthodox journey to music stardom, Karlae is rising in popularity.

Recently, Karlae returned with one of her first releases since 2020. As a lead artist, Karlae has returned with her single, “Blind,” with Lil Yachty. She has delivered the music video for the single, “Blind,” featuring Lil Yachty. As this is the new single, Karlae has yet to announce a project. Karlae is likely to continue releasing singles until momentum properly builds.
